SMALL STEEL TANK INSPECTION PROCEDURES

H.I.R. Technical Services welcomes you to a one of a kind course specifically designed to assist tank inspectors
with the inspection of small steel tanks. The STI® offers a certification but very little actual insite on how to perform
small tank inspections and API® offers certifications for the inspection of large stell built tanks where many of the
formulas can not be used when concidering the remaining life of a smaller shop-built steel tank. This
course fills in the gaps. We show the attendee how to "investigate" an existing tank: To determine the approximate age of the tank. To determine as to which construction
code the tank may have been constructed. How to use the above information to determine
the approximate steel thickness used during the tank's construction and then to accuratly determine the tank's corrosion rates
as well as the predicted "remaining life"
Thanks..
