If you are using education or certifications to help you qualify, then official documentation (in the English language) will need to be uploaded into your application.

Documentation of experience and education:

A Certification of Completion I.D. card will be issued when an applicant has successfully passed the above said examination and satisfies the criteria for education and experience as listed herein.


Qualified, Trained, and documented inspectors shall have education and experience equal to at least one of the following:

a. A degree in engineering plus one year of experience in inspection of FRP tanks or vessels.

b. A 2-year certificate in engineering or technology from a technical college, and two years of experience in manufacturing, repair, operation or inspection of FRP tanks or vessels manufactured in accordance with applicable standards or codes listed in section 4.0.

c. The equivalent of a high school education, and three years of experience in manufacturing, repair, operation or inspection of FRP tanks or vessels manufactured in accordance with applicable standards or codes listed in section 4.0.

All persons wishing to be classified as “Trained” must attend and successfully complete the required training program to ensure the knowledge needed to understand the design, fabrication, site installation and eventual inspections of fiberglass tanks as described within the scope of this Recommended Practice.

This training shall be provided by The Designated Qualified Training organization.
